Shop 11 compressed air piping kits products at northern tool + equipment. My neighbor tells me he is going to install a compressed air run in his shop using pex tube. i told him i thought it was not a good ide. i know pvc is bad and it seems like pex might gradualy pull off the fitting as pressure cycles until it whips loose and hits you in the head. of course it might. I faintly remember someone mentioned that when using copper for compressed air that you should not use regular solder used in plumbing water. what should i use to solder up compressed air plumbing?.
