A real woodworking workbench, fitted out with a vice, is something i have never had, but have been meaning to build for some time. with my time off this summer, i decided it was high time i built myself a workbench.. I'm betting you put a few things in it and get tired of taking them out to rotate. then you either stop using the tray or quit rotating. at any rate, it's a great way to do woodworking.. I like the first rendering you show. from the tools on it i assume the corner bench will be more of a machine bench and not a woodworking bench..
